Beschreibung
The MC462 replaces the MC452 as our most powerful stereo amplifier. Like the MC452, it features a high output of 450 Watts per channel. With a dedicated McIntosh Autoformer™ connected to each audio channel, the full 450 Watts are available to any speaker, regardless of whether it has an impedance of 2, 4 or 8 Ohms. Only one MC462 amplifier can power a world-class home stereo system on its own.
The next generation MC462 stereo amplifier has received numerous upgrades over the previous model. Most importantly, the filter capacity was increased by almost 50%, which resulted in a notable 66% increase in head dynamics from 1.8 dB to 3.0 dB. This allows the MC462 to easily handle drastic swings in dynamics and effortlessly play your favorite music with virtually no distortion. Bass performance is also improved thanks to the increased filter capacity. Our eco-friendly power management system has been added, which will turn off the amplifier after a certain period of time in which no input signal has been detected. The internal wiring and some circuit components have also been updated.
Aesthetically, the MC462 retains all the hallmarks of a McIntosh amplifier with a few key modern improvements. The front panel now uses direct LED backlighting which improves appearance and color accuracy. The two audio autoformers and the single power transformer are housed in new casings surmounted by a single cover worked with glass inserts. The rear half of the amplifier houses four of our Monogrammed heatsinks that connect to advanced high-current output transistors that help eliminate thermal balance lag time.
The product is in used condition like new, perfect both functionally and aesthetically, with intact original packaging and accessories. Product covered 12 months warranty.
