Beschreibung
The Classe CA-D200 delivers 200 watts, uses its own switching power supply and switching amplification stage.
Classe says that DSP is used to optimize system performance, reducing to the lowest possible level the so-called lost time range that occurs at half the switching (between plus and minus) in the output stage, which has so far been considered a difficult problem to solve in the Class D design. The new version of the D design has a negligible time of 3 nanoseconds or perhaps even less, which ultimately reduces distortion, noise, and thus minimizes the use of the entire negative feedback loop, and in the end, it results in a significant improvement in sound performance.
The CA-D200 has something special when it comes to music, and despite the quantification, it retains the advantages associated with solid state amplifiers. Most likely, this is a combination of its many innovative design features, but there are also interesting musical qualities with this amplifier that cannot be fully defined by standard measures.
The amplifier is in excellent condition and comes with its original packaging.
