It has the internal mechanics of the Philips CD PRO2 model, with top loading. It can also work as a cd transport / cd mechanic. It has excellent performance at 24bit / 192khz on the high resolution .
Supplied with remote control, manual, magnetic clamp, power cable, screws of the mechanics lock for transport, three feet of the Soundcare ( patented tips and sub-tips ) , double box, all original.
It weighs over 20kg and runs on 230v.

The new EMC 1 UP has 24-bit / 192kHz upsampling technology. Vital performance for the EMC 1 UP is a unique system, which effectively cancels the acoustic / mechanical vibration cancellation, enabling extremely precise laser and sturdy spinning disc pickup
The 1UP EMC features a unique system, which cancels acoustic / mechanical vibration, preventing the laser pick-up from receiving unwanted and sonically degrading signals. The 1UP EMC features our latest, fully balanced symmetrical state-of-the-art circuit powered by a Floating Transformer Technology (FTT) power supply design.
Concept design and construction
The basic design philosophy of the EMC 1UP CD transport is inspired by fundamental knowledge brought by the analog turntable. Primarily, there is no difference between a turntable and a CD player. Both playback systems consist of: an engine, a pickup and an arm. Phenomena like tone resonance found in analog turntable arm - are just as problematic in typical CD players.
To reduce or eliminate these phenomena, plus other unwanted resonance, Electrocompaniet has developed a mechanical properties filter. The mechanical filter was the frequency adjusted by numerous listening tests of our panel. The mechanical filter eliminates vibrations from internal and external components from entering the laser pickup assembly, resulting in superior reproduction with tighter bass, larger soundstage, precision, high resolution and amazing detail.
A new concept takes the CD to the max.
24 Bit DAC upsampler 192KHz improves the head, reducing the background noise by about 10dB (3x). All analog circuits are fully balanced and symmetrical, similar to the design of our amplifiers. Four separate power supplies using Floating Transformer Technology (FTT) is the digital power supply unit, display, drive mechanism and reference unit.
