One of the best triode amplifier. The less components but the best. The less of of watts but the best.
A really good match with Tannoy or Altec, and surely a lot of good speakers.
I use it without preamplifier, just with the 2 knobs left / right

"I use a slow warm up rectifier tube so the amplifier will not get hit with the high voltage right away. The chokes were made for the US Military in the 1950’s they are from a lot of new old stock chokes I purchased. They are by far the best chokes ever made.
I use a pair to balance the appearance of the amplifier. They do not add to the fidelity enough that the human ear can hear the difference.
They are smoothing chokes. It is just another super high quality part that I like to use when I can. Just like the pilot lamp in the front is from a 1950 Airplane console. The quality of this light is as good as were ever made. With an easy to replace bayonet base bulb. It is just another of the fun things I like to do. That is why I use 1960’s Tamura transformers from Japan, because they are the best ever made."
