For sale Audiobyte Hydra Z USB interface with upgraded ZPM linear power supply. Original price approx. €1,500–1,600 (Hydra Z + ZPM)
The unit converts USB signal to multiple digital outputs (BNC, coaxial, I2S, optical, aes-ebu etc.) while regenerating the clock and significantly reducing jitter.
The power supply has been professionally modified for improved performance. Compared to stock, it offers better resolution, blacker background and more natural presentation. Furthermore it provides two clock outputs with slightly different characteristics, allowing some flexibility in system matching and sound presentation. In the last photo you can see a comparison between the original unit (bottom) and my upgraded version (top).
Very reliable and stable unit, used in a high-end system with excellent results.
