Description
The first Denafrips Terminator DAC (around 2019) featured a proprietary R2R + DSD architecture, using true balanced 26-bit R-2R for PCM and 6-bit DSD, supported by high-precision resistors, ultra-low noise power, femto clocks (CCHD-957), FIFO buffer reclocking, DSP for upsampling (PCM 384kHz/DSD256), and versatile inputs (USB, I²S, Coax, AES/EBU) for high-res audio up to DSD256/PCM1536 (USB/I²S). Key specs included a neutral sound, excellent dynamics, robust build, and high-quality components, positioning it as a top-tier R2R DAC.
