The Fiorino USB is a compact, elegant solution to either connect a computer or USB device to an audiophile DAC without a USB input (as it converts USB to coaxial), OR to SIGNIFICATLY IMPROVE the sound of your computer based system by providing a much better sync and isolation than most DAC's USB input. It's taken a top-of-the-line Brinkmann DAC with USB in for me to let go of it.
It features a high-quality USB port with a high data rate of 480 Mb/s.
It can read all PCM and DSD streams in any format up to 192 kHz with 24-bit resolution.
To offer the best performance, the Fiorino USB uses the famous XMOS XS1-L01A chip.
For Apple users, no special installation program is required: the Fiorino is “Plug & Play”. It is powered directly by the computer via USB. For Windows users, a driver is available for download from the Gold Note website.
