The introduction of the limited-edition M-Project in 2014 provided a glimpse into the cutting-edge designs and advanced technologies being developed at Magico. Over the past two years, intensive research has been dedicated to exploring new methodologies and materials, which are now incorporated into the Magico M3.

A new carbon fiber side panel design, an all-graphene midrange and woofer, and the phenomenal 28mm diamond-cut beryllium tweeter, previously only found in the M-Project, come together in what is the most sophisticated speaker we've ever created.

A three-axis internal matrix structure in the M3 helps create an extremely rigid enclosure and eliminates unwanted resonances and colorations, allowing all drivers to operate with extraordinary resolution and dynamics.

The M3 midrange driver operates in a specially constructed secondary enclosure made of a proprietary polymer that improves midrange control and articulation. This sub-enclosure concept was first used in the S3 and is now applied to our latest 3-way speaker designs.

The M3 incorporates the diamond-coated beryllium diaphragm tweeter (28 mm) used in the MPro. The optimized geometry and diamond coating on the beryllium align the acoustic properties closer to perfection without adding extra weight to a full diamond dome. This revolutionary tweeter design offers a near-perfect weight-to-stiffness ratio unmatched in the industry. The new tweeter features extra-long excursion movement and uses a custom neodymium-based motor system to match the sensitivity and power handling capabilities of the M3, while maintaining ultra-wide dispersion characteristics and ultra-low distortion measurements.

Magico is the world's first manufacturer to use graphene in the development of a radically new and advanced speaker cone design. Graphene has many remarkable properties and is approximately 100 times stronger than the strongest steel. The newly developed six-inch midrange and seven-inch bass cones found in the M3 are both crafted using Multi-Wall XG Nanographene carbon and a new, ultra-stiff proprietary carbon weave that is 20% lighter and 300% stiffer than the previous cone material we used in our Magico speaker offerings.

One element that contributes to the M3's extraordinary overall sonic performance is the application of MPOD. MPOD is based on the well-documented scientific principles of Constrained Layer Damping (CLD) and, in our opinion, the most effective way to channel unwanted vibrations away from a component and its platform.

Operating under enormous weight, the MPOD is a noise-channeling system that effectively dissipates resonance while maintaining maximum coupling properties to the floor, resulting in remarkable sonic results. M3s ordered with the MPOD 3-Pt stand come with a beautifully appointed carrying case that includes six MPODs and a professional-grade torque wrench for periodic maintenance of the internal tension rods.
