Description
Improved NAKAMICHI PA-5E Power amplifier.
This is a "STASIS" , of the same design as renown Threshold amplifiers.
The power supply has been more than doubled. Two 500 W toroïdal transformers have been used to replace the original single 300 W. ( See pictures ) .
There are two rectifier bridges instead of one.
So, the DC power voltage is raised from +/- 60 Volts to +/- 70 V
The output power is closer than a PA-7 than a PA-5, but with better performances. Especially for low frequencies.
Completely overhauled and tuned last year by a skilled professional.
A hand by hand transfer would be greatly appreciated.
I can move in a 200 Km radius around Grenoble France.
