For sale is my Pro-Ject CD Box RS2 T in silver — a serious top-loading Red Book pure CD transport, with no built-in DAC, designed for use with a high-quality external DAC.
Current retail price in Europe is around €2,500.
The RS2 T is built around the SUOS CD-Pro 8 mechanism. This platform continues the tradition of the classic Philips high-end CD mechanisms: former Philips CD development engineers in Vienna continued this work at SUOS, and Pro-Ject invested in a modern, uncompromising CD transport. The same CD-Pro 8 platform is also known from far more expensive machines such as the Gryphon Ethos, with a retail price of around €40,000.
First owner, only 6 months old.
Condition is as new (10/10) and it works 100% flawlessly. The display still has its original protective film, which has never been removed. Complete with all original accessories, remote control, and double-box packaging.
