Description
Thoress draws inspiration from solutions of the 1950s and 1960s, the golden age of audio, a time when the engineer, not the accountant, was the central figure in the company. This is why their equipment mostly uses vacuum tube technology.
The Thoress provides a very open, spacious, and detailed sound, with plenty of "air," but at the same time creates an incredibly rich sound image in terms of timbre and nuances, with a perfectly full and dense midrange, generating an incredibly natural, organic, and tangible sound, with an illusion of the instruments' presence in the room.
The phono section is not an add-on to the line section, but a state-of-the-art device, fully dedicated to maximum performance on par with the sonic capabilities of the Thoress Parametric Phono Equalizer. It offers high-precision MC amplification and excellent signal-to-noise ratio performance.
