Super heavyweight and high rigidity
In the playback of records, which record sound vibrations in microns, unnecessary vibrations are suppressed as much as possible. Low-frequency vibrations are suppressed by weight, and high-frequency vibrations are suppressed by air. The chassis, including the granite base and brass platter, has a total weight of over 100 kg, and both the base and platter have an air floating structure with high-precision machining of 5μm to suppress the transmission of unnecessary vibrations.

Base
It uses 40 kg of granite that has been stabilized over 5 million years. The granite's weight and vibration-damping characteristics suppress unnecessary vibrations from the floor surface. The granite is processed to JIS 0 grade with a flatness of 5μ, equivalent to a stone surface plate, which is the standard for manufacturing mother machines (machine tools), and a levitated plate rotates on it while maintaining a distance of several tens of μ.
Platter
To obtain stable rotation, a brass platter 344 mm in diameter and weighing 28 kg rotates with a high moment of inertia. The weight of the platter is supported by air pressure, and only a few hundred grams of lateral force is applied to the bearings, resulting in a structure free from unnecessary vibration and long-term reliability.
Stabilizer
The part where the platter touches the record disc is tapered, and the record disc is held in place from above by a heavy stainless steel stabilizer. The platter and the record are closely adhered to each other to suppress unnecessary vibration when the needle tip traces the record.
