I am parting ways with these magnificent speakers designed and manufactured in Belgium, around an electro-magnetic driver with very low distortion, absolutely unique in the world, and which turned the head of the critic of Diapason (Diapason d'Or) .

The LEMS driver (Lineair Excursion Motor System) is not an evolution of the classic electrodynamic driver, it is a real revolution. This LEMS has a linear behavior of 99.7% without the slightest compression.
The dynamic response is perfect.
The mechanical resistance of the cone is canceled, so there is not the slightest absorption of the musical signal. That's why every detail can be heard.
The speaker is ultra fast and this quality, combined with its linearity, results in extreme resolution capability. Music, even the most complex, becomes perfectly clear.
Ultra-low distortion levels will ensure fatigue-free listening.
We can easily say that this transducer is close to perfection.
The Magister and Vocalis speakers have been designed as a whole. Ilumnia started from scratch and did not purchase any assembly components. Everything was designed with maximum synergy in mind. One of the consequences: the filter is a minimalist concept and the musical signal is maintained without compromise.
The three objectives sought and achieved:
Objective 1: maximum speed to achieve optimal dynamics of micro and macro signals (high resolution, details, resolution capabilities).
Objective 2: minimal distortion for natural sound reproduction and non-fatiguing sound.
Objective 3: maximum linearity to always have the same purity of sound, whatever the volume (and/or the dynamics of the music).
