Selling this highly praised dac. It has been profesionally upgraded with a lot of things. I compared it directly to Lampizator Atlantic TRP, Lampizator Amber 3, Rega Isis valve cd. It came very close to Rega Isis which costs around 10k€. Neither of the two Lampizators I compared it with could match its performance.
Here is the list of upgrades and modifications:
Chassis: copper IEC connector, WBT RCA connectors, copper BNC connector;
Power supply capacitors: Mundorf, Roederstein (ROE), Auricap, Elna Silmic, SMD polymer hybrid and SMD PPS capacitors.
Power supply and regulation: Modified power supply featuring multi-stage bypassing and low-noise LT3042 voltage regulation.
DAC modules: AK4497 and AK4499 modules, with AK4490 module also included.
Signal path resistors: Dale and Allen-Bradley resistors.
Heater elevation modification.
274B National Union premium NOS rectifier tube.
The original 6X4 rectifier tube will also be included.
Custom firmware: The latest firmware, developed specifically for this unit, designed to prevent distortion in the AK4499 DAC modules.
