Atma-Sphere Music Systems MA-2 MK3.3

This set of Atma-Sphere MA-2 MK3.3 OTL mono-block amplifiers are in great operational condition and are looking for a new home. These MA-2s MK3.3 edition are currently listed new at EUR49.000/pr - this used set will provide the same performance at a tremendous cost savings to someone. In my opinion, these are one of the finest amplifiers available at any price (tube or not).

These were upgraded from an earlier revision (I am not sure what version they were originally), ultimately receiving the MK3.3 upgrade in 2018 and had recently done a full service inspection and verification by Ralph of the designer himself in end of 2025. Compared to the smaller amplifiers in Atma-Sphere's lineup, the MA-2s provide much more power and a greater ability to drive lower impedance loads. The neat feature about this additional power of the larger MA-2s is that they don’t put out much more heat than his smaller OTL models due to a more efficient power supply in the MA-2 (per Ralph at Atma-Sphere) and can be run with anywhere from a few power tubes to the full complement of power tubes where they will put out 220w per channel. These Atma-Sphere MA-2 OTL amplifiers have been widely identified as one of the top performing options for ESLs.

The front face and pretty much everything that can be seen from a typical seating position (assuming the front of the amp is toward you), were replaced/refreshed in 2018 with the MK3.3 update which included a new power supply enclosure and faceplate. These front-facing areas are cosmetically quite clean with a few exceptions. The few marks I could detect on the front end of the amplifier include some fine scratches on one of the gold anodized bolt-on front handles, and some sort of small mark on the top of the face of one of the units (both circled in the photos) – I did not notice either issue until I pulled them out and under lights for these ad photos.

On the original back end/ tube array mounting surface these amplifiers have several cosmetic marks, wear, etc. on, as can be seen on the photos (I circled the two most serious flaws on the back side of the amplifiers -one on the back corner of each amplifier in a photo). Please take a careful look at the actual photos included in this ad to inspect the condition.

These are currently boxed up and ready to go in a set of very thick corrugated boxes. Each amplifier will be sent with:
~ a full complement of 40 strong 6H13 Russian power tubes, and the 12 stock Russian 6SN7 GTs and new production TungSol 6SN7 GTBs for the front two positions.
~ In addition, I will provide 10 NOS 6H13 spare Russian power tubes and,
~ one set of six new 6SN7 driver tubes in a shipment as spares for the new owner,
~ a set of four generic power cords will be provided.

Please note that the shipping dimensions and weights are only for one of the two amplifiers....so the shipping of the amplifiers will be two of those units, in addition to a third, small double-boxed package of the spare tubes that will be sent directly to the buyer.
