I'm offering for sale an Audio Note Cobra tube amplifier which I purchased three months ago from a Polish distributor /Invoice dated June 11, 2025/.
I am unfortunately forced to place this perfect amplifier for sale due to unexpected private circumstances.
I offer amplifier with additional NOS tubes and a coaxial cable.
Description as below :
Original/Serial vacuum tubes :
- 2 x 6AU6WC GE JAN
- 2 x 5670W GE JAN
- 4 x EL34 ELECTRO-HARMONIX
Additional NOS vacuum tubes:
- 2 new NOS tubes 5670 GE 5 Stars
- 4 tubes Telefunken 6AU6A
- 2 tubes BRIMAR 6AU6A
NOS tubes 5670 GE 5 Stars are as far as I know best choice for this amp.
6AU6A tubes are used but in perfect sonic condition.
Each tube has a sticker with measured parameters.
- 5.5 mA, 7.7 mA, 5 mA, and 3.3 mA for Telefunken tubes
- 10.2 mA and 10.1 mA for BRIMAR tubes.
Telefunken tubes in my opinion sound much better comparing to serial GE JAN tubes (much better soundstage, 3D sound, and perfect reproduction of acoustic instruments and vocals). Compared to Telefunken tubes, BRIMAR tubes sound warmer in the upper range and have a slightly more weighted low end.
COAXIAL cable RCA-BNC (this connection was necessary to connect Audio Note to my Lumin T2).
Original carton + manual + power cable
Price includes costs of courier shipment within EU.
Upon earlier agreement pick up is also possible from 21220 Seevetal-Ohlendorf.
In case of sales without additional NOS tubes and coaxial cable asking price is 3000 EUR
