Beschreibung
Codex inaugurates a series of audiophysic' speakers whose technical features will gradually be extended to other models in the Reference range and continue to be regularly improved.
Some of its special features:
- column tilted backwards for acoustic phasing, covered with coloured glass -or precious wood panels- flexibly glued to the cabinet
- 3.5-way speaker with an internally partitioned cabinet providing a closed space for each driver with its own crossover cell
- All of the brand's proprietary loudspeakers are constantly evolving (spiderless, last one RecoTec diaphragm, etc.).
- a woofer in its own enclosure at the bottom of the main cabinet, radiating from the bottom of the speaker
- an absorbent material consisting of ceramic metal foam filtering the woofer's output and judiciously placed in useful locations

These Codex dating from 2019 were updated in 2022 with a kit to replace their midrange driver with the new HHCM SL that has no spider and its new dedicated filter. This improves the reproduction of this important medium range. As the footprint of the HHCM-SL is slightly different from the original, the two pairs of front grilles were sent back to the [audiophysic] workshop to be refitted.
These Codex are also available with a set of four VCF V Magnetic feet, which effectively solve the issue of the interface with the floor (see pict). Traditional spikes are also included.
The speakers are in perfect cosmetic and working condition. They have been used with care in a non-smoking, pet-free environment.
