Beschreibung
For sale is a top-of-the-line Avid Acutus Dark Limited Edition turntable. Each of these limited edition turntables is individually numbered and only 100 Dark turntables are available,
The turntable is in TOP technical and optical condition, like new. The turntable is currently fitted with a Kuzma Stogi Ref 313 VTA tonearm, which can also be purchased separately.
This highly revered design, first seen at the Munich High End Show, is now available in a matte black finish. It still carries the same 10kg metal platter driven by dual drive belts, which are powered by the legendary hand-built motor and calibrated DSP controlled variable speed PSU, ensuring perfect pitch and stability control. A fully adjustable three-point suspension mechanism is used to further isolate the Acutus Dark Limited Edition from any external interference while allowing for easy fine-tuning for the perfect setup.
At the top is a unique single-point thrust bearing, engineered to exacting tolerances to direct bad vibrations and energy away from the playing surface into the sub-chassis. This further ensures, in combination with the exclusive single-stage clamp, that only good vibrations reach the stylus.
