Very interesting tube amp, authomatic bias set up option, severa settings for tubes, triode-penthode setting
The amp plays in a very dynamic and controlled manner. Recomended for tube sound fan however especially for someone in need of amplifier capable of driving more resistant speakers or something to deliver more precision and edge , something between tube and solid state amp in its characetristics raelly.
The Spirit III retains the charateristic for tube amps in terms of certain glow and warmth in mid range however it is also suprisingly punchy and detailed in delivering dynamics and seems to have very good resolution and a nack to present detail on soundstage rather more so then typical tube amps in this proce range. So the best of both worlds really. This surely must have been the goal of ayon engineers with Spirit III or at least this is what has been accomplshed with success.
