Beschreibung
This is the absolute top end set from Bang & Olufsen in the early eighties. The set consists of the Beomaster 8000 with the Beolab Terminal remote, the Beocord 9000 with th CCC system, the Beogram 8002 which is the lates version of the record player to replace the Beogram 4000 series. It comes with the very rare MMC1 pick up cartridge in top condition. In addition, the set comes with the U70 headphones.
This entire set has been completely overhauled by a former Bang & Olufsen professional using only the finest replacement parts available. Evry unit has replaced electrolytics, all lamps, all LED segments, all rubber parts, an many many other components of which much was also replaced preventatively in order to ensure many years of useful lifetime ahead.
The set is further tested and adjusted using the original Bang & Olufsen test equipment, like reference tapes, and reference records etc.
Interesting features that must be mentioned is the surprisingly powerful Beomaster, that is specified for 2x150W into 8 Ohm but actually measures up to 2x293W into 4 ohms. And the Computerized calibration system in the Beocord 9000 enables this tape recorder to run a flat frequency response up to 22 Khz on metal tapes even with Dolby C enabled. The Beogram is equipped with the much sought after MMC1 cartridge that originally was a very expansive add on feature to achieve the absolute best performance from this set.
The optical appearance is as can be seen in the picture very very good, and there are only very little signs of use. The set only has had two owners during its lifetime.
