I am offering for sale my beloved Copland CTA-405 amplifier.
This is a reference Danish amplifier in the world of audiophile high-fidelity. Numerous tests and reviews confirm its extraordinary level of quality.
A valve (tube) amplifier that combines the delicacy of tubes with real character and an enormous dynamic capability, allowing it to drive even very demanding loudspeakers. It is rated at 50 W on paper (70 W in some tests) into both 8 and 4 ohms, with a strong current reserve and power delivery even into difficult impedance loads. The input and output transformers are heavily oversized.
It also features an excellent phono preamplifier stage for vinyl enthusiasts.
I can offer it fitted with KT88 or KT120 tubes, as well as a selection of high-quality NOS preamplifier tubes.
The original packaging is included and, of course, the remote control.
Non-smoking environment. Always very well cared for.
