Beschreibung
190 Watt OTL Class A Triode.
Nice overall condition, also considering age. With a known history to us concerning the two previous owners. This Panthere was delivered new to the first Dutch owner in 1996. These will be one among a handful produced 230 Volt examples.
Comes with the original manual, diverse documentation, invoices, spare driver tubes, leaflets and some spare parts. The Panthere can also play with 2/4/6 tubes in each mono, just like the Atma-Sphere.
The Panthere has been thoroughly inspected in our workshop and cleaned internally, circuitboards cleaned both sides, soldering points redone, renewed trim potentiometers, renewed wiring at the input section and cleaned all contact and earthing points. All capacitors have been replaced with high quality types. The cover has been polished. All tubes are measured and selected.
Bias measurements are stable and conform specs. This largely depends on duration tested and thus selected 6C33C-B tube samples. We dare say stories about big OTL troubles largely stem from neglect, misunderstanding and incompetent service, but this accounts in general.
The Fourier Panthere is a piece of audio history and this is a rare, if not unique opportunity.
