The Hypsos is a hybrid power supply that combines the best of both switching and linear power supplies, according to Ferrum. This design allows the Hypsos to deliver power efficiently, with a maximum continuous output current of 6A for voltages below 13.3V. For output voltages above 13.3V, the DC output current adjusts to match a maximum power of 80W. This efficient power delivery is coupled with low noise, contributing to the Hypsos' ability to deliver superior resolution of low-level sounds.
