Eclipse TD712 Mk2 Silver and (almost impossible to find second hand) - Eclipse TD725 mk2 subwoofer
The speakers are approx 5 years old, the sub is less than 6 months old and in "as new" condition
Retail price: speakers €9000, subwoofer €6000
Offered here for nearly half price
Condition & Packaging:
Eclipse TD712 Mk2 (Silver): Excellent, very minimal signs of use on the stands, as far as I can see. Supplied with original packaging—4 boxes in total, 2 for the speakers, 2 for the stands
Eclipse TD725 Mk2 Subwoofer (Black): As close to new as you’ll ever find, less than 1 yr old. Comes with original packaging and remote control.
Performance Highlights:
Speakers: no intro needed, please check the reviews online – amazing speed, transparency, imaging and soundstage (single driver with no crossover coloration or "time delay" = TD!!)
Speakers: relatively easy to drive - like any top quality speakers they excel with good amplification (I have used them with Electrocompaniet Nemos, CH precision 1.1 and Accuphase A300 monos over time)
Subwoofer: excellent speed and precision to match the 712s, with no DSP coloration or delay
The sub is almost unique in offering dual inputs, allowing you to run two totally separate systems/setups (as I did: one for music, the other for TV/video)
Although delivery can be arrange at buyer's cost, due to the size and weight (over 52 kgs!!) of the subwoofer, local collection is preferred
