Pianosa’s design philosophy reflects the entire Gold Note turntable range: innovative shapes and premium materials, all dedicated to delivering the best possible listening experience.
The lower plinth, inspired by the catenary curve, is available in walnut wood or black-lacquered MDF and is handcrafted by skilled Italian artisans. Each piece is carefully selected and meticulously crafted to form the heart of the turntable. The upper plinth is made from 20 mm thick black-lacquered MDF, reinforced with a 3 mm stainless steel plate to ensure rigidity. The result is audio performance that exceeds expectations.
The 12 V synchronous motor control system and the materials used in Pianosa are derived directly from Gold Note’s flagship models. This design suppresses vibrations while reproducing the finest musical details with excellent dynamic response.
Pianosa features a high-precision bearing system manufactured to extremely tight tolerances to minimize friction. The hardened steel platter spindle mates precisely with the chrome steel ball bearing, ensuring smooth, quiet rotation.
