Beschreibung
Three-way loudspeaker originally designed in 1967 and reinterpreted in a modern key by Derek Hughes with official BBC certification.
OAK finish, first owner, in like-new condition, complete with:
- double original boxes
- protective cloth covers
- original purchase invoice
Speakers have always been used in a non-smoking environment and kept covered when not in use.
The stands were custom-made by a specialized workshop to my specifications, inspired by the legendary Foundation Designer stands for the LS5/9 that I previously owned, following extensive research into the materials used (tube thickness, internal filling) as well as the external finish: the special coating has an almost “rubberized” texture to the touch, just like the original Foundation Designer stands.
Compared to the original Graham Audio stands, the improvement in sound quality is unmistakable: tighter and more controlled bass response, better focus and imaging, and an overall more refined and natural presentation, perfectly in line with the BBC character of these loudspeakers.
A truly high-end system for those seeking the classic BBC sound: naturalness, coherence, and outstanding soundstage reproduction.
Local pickup preferred, but I can also ship safely and professionally using the original packaging (including pallet shipping if required). I am also available for personal delivery within approximately 200/250 km.
