Beschreibung
EXTREMELY rare Kondo Gakuoh monos in PSE configuration (Parallel Single-Ended). Please do not mistake it for the more common (and inferior) Push-Pull version - completely different sounding amp!
PSE version is THE ONE to get! 22W of 300B SET tube magic!
ABSOLUT BARGAIN price: the new Gakuoh II cost eye-watering €185.000!
I do not even need to mention that, according to die-hard Kondo lovers, the older Kondo models sound better than the current production models, mainly because of the change in capacitors used. For example, an Ongaku from the 1990s or 2000s is often considered to sound much better than a brand-new one you can buy in 2026, etc..
Those monos are from 2003, so manufactured basicly just 2 years after Kondo-San passing by Masaki-San.
Second owner. Amp originally bought from Volker Kühn / Kondo Black Forest (famous former Kondo distributor in Germany for over 25 years).
Used in pets/kids/smoke free household.
Original wooden crates included.
