Kondo Ongaku

I'm selling this legendary amplifier: a Kondo Ongaku. It was the first amplifier to be wired entirely in silver, including the transformer windings. This is the amplifier that cemented Kondo's place among the greatest names in Hi-Fi.
This is my second one. I previously owned the current model.
This one is a second-generation Ongaku, made by Kondo himself. It dates from the 1990s.
At the time, Kondo was called Audio Note Japan.
It has three unique features that make it exceptional.
1- It was completely restored by Kondo last year, using only NOS components identical to those used by Kondo in the 1990s. This restoration cost near €8,500. It therefore sounds exactly like a brand-new unit, produced by Kondo in the 1990s.
2- It is fitted entirely with NOS tubes, which are like new. Testable on my AT1000.
This NOS tube build, GE power tubes, Mullard rectifiers, and GE 6072 and 5687 input tubes, cost €3500. The stock tubes, including new Kondo 211s, will of course be included.
3- It has been fitted with the new Kondo continuous potentiometer. It is much more pleasant and practical to use than the original notched potentiometer. Of course, I have the notched one if you wish to reinstall it.
I have all the invoices.
It has its original packaging (a very heavy wooden box), but I would prefer collection in Paris, France.
I could ship it of course anywhere in the world at buyer’s risk and expense.
I am selling it because it is too powerful for my current high-efficiency speakers and my room, which is not large enough. I plan to order the Gakuoh 2 power amplifiers or look for a Souga.
As you can see, this is a unique model, very rare on the used market. It sounds more like a hit than the current Ongaku. More sensual. More passionate. Personally, I think it's better. But that's obviously a matter of personal taste.
The price is negotiable within reason.

Je vends cet ampli de légende : un Kondo Ongaku. C’était le premier ampli à être câblé entièrement en argent, y compris les bobinages des transfos. C’est l’ampli qui a consacré Kondo dans le gotta des plus grands noms de la Hifi.
C’est mon deuxième. J’ai eu le modèle actuel.
Celui est un modèle de la deuxième generation d’Ongaku, fabriqué par Kondo san lui même. Il date des années 1990.
A l’époque Kondo s’appelait Audio Note Japan.

Il présente 3 particularités uniques qui le rendent exceptionnel.
1- il a été entièrement restauré chez Kondo l’an dernier. En utilisant uniquement les composants Nos identiques à ceux utilisés par Kondo dans les années 90. Cette restauration a coûté 8500 euros. Il sonne donc exactement comme un appareil neuf, produit chez Kondo dans les années 90.
2- Il est tubé integralement en tubes NOS, comme neufs. Testables sur mon AT1000.
Cette monte de tubes NOS, tubes de puissance GE, Redresseuses Mullard, tubes d’entrée GE 6072 et 5687, a coûté 3500 euros. Les tubes “stock” incluant des 211 neuves Kondo actuelles seront bien sûr fournis.
3- Il a été équippé du nouveau potentiomètre Kondo continu. Il est beaucoup plus agréable et pratique d’utilisation que le potentiomètre cranté d’origine. Evidemment j’ai le cranté si vous souhaitez le remettre.
Toutes les factures sont en ma possession.
Il a son emballage ( boîte en bois très lourde) mais évidemment je n’expédierai pas un tel appareil.
Je le vends car il est trop puissant pour mes enceintes actuelles à très haut rendement et ma pièce qui n’est pas assez grande. Je pense commander après la vente des blocs Gakuoh 2.

Il s’agit vous l’aurez compris d’un modèle unique, très rare sur le marché de l’occasion.
Il sonne plus “tube” que l’Ongaku actuel. Plus sensuel. Plus chaud. Personnellement je le trouve meilleur. Mais c’est évidemment une question de goût personnel.
J’en souhaite 40000 euros.
