The K-300i combines Krell's substantial power delivery with its proprietary iBias technology, allowing the amplifier to operate in Class A for the first part of its power range. It delivers 150 W per channel into 8 ohms and 300 W into 4 ohms, making it a highly capable amplifier for a wide range of loudspeakers.
The K-300i is known for combining excellent control and dynamics with a smooth, natural presentation. In his Stereophile review, Jason Victor Serinus described the sound as having neutral timbres with a touch of warmth, impressive dimensionality and tight, powerful bass. He ultimately described the K-300i as the most memorable-sounding integrated amplifier he had reviewed.
