Due to a change in setup, I'm selling my Linn Akurate Ekaxt DSM preamp/streamer.
This is version 1, but with the upgraded HDMI 4-input and 1-output 4K 60Hz module, and Dynamik power supply.
Katalyst expansion and 7.1 decoding module are also available from a Linn dealer.
It has two Exakt inputs and outputs for driving Exakt speakers or amplifiers.
It's in absolutely mint condition.
Complete with remote control, box, and invoice.
Imagine one of the best network players in the world, the Linn Akurate DS, with the added ability to use its integrated digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for other sources via digital inputs (optical, coaxial, or even HDMI)... This was already a recurring request from many of our customers, who wanted to use the exceptional DAC built into the Akurate DS! Add to that a high-quality preamp, and you have this DSM version of the Linn Akurate!
With this device, all you'll need is a power amplifier and speakers, or even powered speakers, to enjoy a complete system.
Note that the Akurate DSM is now Exakt-ready via the Exakt Link outputs on the back of the unit.
What are the uses for a DSM system? Music: From MP3s to studio masters, DSM systems are exceptionally musical, among the best on the market! Movies and TV: Connect a Blu-ray or DVD player, your ADSL or satellite box, or even your TV and hear the difference. Multi-source: Just like a digital or analog input, the network input lets you experience Linn quality even when the sound comes from your computer. Whether it's iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, internet radio, or a live concert; Thanks to SongCast, everything you listen to on your PC or Mac can be heard on your Linn system! Mobile: Imagine a friend comes over and wants to listen to music stored on their mobile device; they can now "send" it to the DSM system from their mobile phone or tablet (via Wi-Fi). Multiroom: Since DSM systems are designed with multiroom capability in mind, anything played on your DSM system can be played in any other room using SongCast.
