I am offering my Lumin D1 network streamer/DAC, combined with a Sbooster linear power supply.
Both units have been exceptionally well maintained and are in absolute mint condition, both cosmetically and technically (100%).
The Lumin D1 comes with its original packaging and box. The Sbooster power supply no longer has its original box, but it is supplied complete with the original set of Sbooster adapter plugs/tips.
Why this combination?
The Lumin D1 is renowned for its exceptionally smooth, analogue and musical presentation, thanks to its acclaimed dual Wolfson WM8741 DAC architecture. It delivers a silky, organic and highly natural sound, completely free from digital harshness.
While the D1 already performs very well with its standard power supply, the Sbooster 12V linear power supply takes the performance to a noticeably higher level. Its extremely clean and stable power delivery lowers the noise floor to an exceptionally low level, resulting in:
* Greater tranquillity, depth and authority in the soundstage
* A significantly wider and more three-dimensional presentation
* Tighter and better-defined bass
* More refined reproduction of micro-details
In my system, this combination sounds noticeably better than the Lumin D2, particularly in terms of musicality, smoothness and overall presentation.
The Lumin D1 is fully up to date and equipped with Leedh Processing firmware.
The set comes from a smoke-free household.
For serious buyers, the set can of course be auditioned in person. Alternatively, I can ship it fully insured. The Lumin will be packed very securely in its original, sturdy box, while the Sbooster will be carefully and generously protected for shipping.
