Musical Fidelity A5 CR Pre & Power Combination

Musical Fidelity A5 CR high-end preamplifier and power amplifier set, fully functional and in excellent cosmetic condition. Both units feature a dual-mono design, and the amplifier operates in Class A/B (Class A for the lower wattage). The A5 Series has been superseded by the 6 Series at Musical Fidelity.

This set is capable of driving demanding speakers such as, in my experience, the Linn DMS Isobarik and B&W 802, or even higher-efficiency models like the JBL S4700.

The remote control was replaced with an identical Musical Fidelity model in 2021.

I am selling this set, which I have owned since 2006, following my upgrade to Mark Levinson equipment, which includes digital components.
