Beschreibung
I am the first owner / purchaser of the speakers. I am selling them as I unfortunately do not have enough space in my new listening room for a set of Sonus Faber floor speakers and these. In other words, I need to downsize.
The speakers
- are in excellent to near mint condition
- have barely run for the recommended breaking in time of 50 hrs of listening, and
- are in a non-smoking household.
Note that the photos show some minor surficial flaws in the oak veneer (see photos), some of which were there at purchase.
There is a corner on one speaker where the veneer has slightly opened up (see photo). Although these flaws are clearly present, they are not really visible at listening distance.
Importantly, none of these have any impact on speaker operations and their sound

Sound impressions
The PMCs are studio monitors and thus very revealing and forward. They cast a wide sound stage where instruments are clearly differentiated and positioned in space. They can be unforgiving when it comes to muddied or poor recordings.

Cable & connectors
When selecting cables for use with your twenty5i series loudspeakers, ensure
that their construction is of a high enough standard to withstand the rigors of
everyday use and that they are suitably terminated. While bare wire can be
accommodated by the twenty5i series binding posts, we recommend the use
of either spade lugs or 4mm ‘banana’ plugs in order to maintain an electrical
connection of the highest integrity and avoid the possibility of short circuits.
Please consult your dealer for more information regarding cable lengths and
termination options.
Do not use tools to tighten the binding posts
Polarity + & –
It is of vital importance to observe the polarity markings and maintain
positive-to-positive and negative-to-negative connections from amplifier
or receiver to the loudspeaker.
The twenty5i series terminals are colour-coded to
aid in their identification: positive terminals are red, negative terminals are black.
When selecting cables for use with your twenty5i series loudspeakers, ensure
