Beschreibung
PS Audio PerfectWave DirectStream Junior DAC with Bridge II Network Card
For sale is a PS Audio PerfectWave DirectStream Junior, combining a high-quality D/A converter, digital preamplifier and network music streamer in a single unit.
Unlike conventional DAC designs, the DirectStream Junior does not use a standard off-the-shelf DAC chip. Its proprietary digital processing converts incoming digital signals into high-rate DSD before converting them into analogue audio. The result is a remarkably natural, analogue-like, detailed and musical sound.
The unit features the original built-in Bridge II network card, allowing it to function as a network music player. It supports compatible UPnP applications such as Audirvana and mconnect, enabling music playback from a local network and supported online streaming services, including TIDAL.
Thanks to its digital volume control and preamplifier functionality, the DirectStream Junior can also be connected directly to a power amplifier or active loudspeakers, making it an excellent centrepiece for a high-quality audio system.
Condition and accessories:
The unit is in flawless technical condition and works perfectly.
The power button on the remote control occasionally requires a second press to respond. The remote control otherwise works normally. The button may simply need cleaning, although this has not been investigated.
Cosmetically, it is in very good condition, with only a few very light surface scratches on the glass top panel.
Supplied with its original box, protective packaging, remote control and cables. Original paperwork and purchase invoice are not available.
Asking price: EUR 1.400
