Offered for sale is my Sonnet Pasithea DAC, fitted with the optional I²S module. The DAC is in excellent cosmetic and technical condition, performs flawlessly, and has always been carefully used in a smoke-free and pet-free listening environment.
Designed by Cees Ruijtenberg, the Sonnet Pasithea is widely regarded as one of the finest discrete R2R DACs in its class. Its fully discrete architecture, non-oversampling (NOS) design and carefully engineered analogue output stage have earned it a reputation for delivering a natural, effortless and highly musical presentation while maintaining exceptional resolution and transparency.
This particular unit is equipped with the optional I²S module, making it an excellent partner for high-end digital sources offering an I²S output, such as the Antipodes P2 and other compatible transports or reclockers.
The Pasithea has been part of a carefully assembled reference-quality audio system and has performed flawlessly throughout its ownership.
I am selling this DAC only because I have made changes to my audio system.
The original packaging is unfortunately no longer available.
The DAC can be inspected and auditioned by appointment. Shipping is available, and the unit will be packed with great care to ensure safe transport.
