Legendary Sony CDP-555ESJ High-End CD Player (Japanese Domestic Market)

I am offering for sale a beautiful Sony CDP-555ESJ CD player. This is the highly sought after Japanese domestic version of the legendary European Sony CDP-X707ES (and X779ES) flagship models. It features stunning, factory-lacquered wooden side panels that are incredibly rare to find in such great condition in Europe.

Condition:

* Technical: 100% fully functional. The tray mechanism works smoothly and quietly. The laser reads CDs very fast without any skipping or hesitation.

* Visual: Excellent vintage condition. The wooden side panels retain their beautiful glossy finish with only very minor, normal signs of age. The front fascia is clean and well-preserved. Please carefully check the high-resolution pictures, as they show the exact item for sale.

* Additional photos (e.g., showing the unit powered on and reading a CD) can be provided upon request for seriously interested buyers.

Important Note regarding Voltage:

Since this is a pure JDM model, it operates on 100V. However, I am including a high-quality, dedicated step-down transformer (TSA 100-1/1, 230V -> 100V) in the set. It is completely "Plug & Play" for the European grid.
