Hello to all lovers of vinyl and music, I am putting this beautiful Thorens TD 520 record player on sale with SME 3012R bottom, it is completely revised, we started by changing the suspension system of the backing deck with the aluminum kit sold by "the art of sound", (the original plastic tips break over time), then, the welds of the modulation cable as well as the wires of the arm have been reviewed, all the electronic part has been checked as well as the connectors which have been loosened. It is in its original configuration with the SME cartridge holder, the modulation cable is the original Thorens and it comes with a Denon DL 103 MC cartridge. Note that the arm is specific to this turntable, you have the possibility to disassemble it to adapt it to another turntable but it will take time and also buy new SME parts for the base. I am not motivated by a shipment given the fragility of the beauty. No crazy proposals, look at the prices (certainly, expensive) requested on HifiShark.
