The Powersoft DigiMod 3000PFC is a premium-class professional amplifier module designed to deliver extreme power, high efficiency, and outstanding flexibility. It is capable of delivering up to 1700 W per channel into 4 Ω and 1100 W per channel into 8 Ω, with the ability to reach 3400 W in bridge mode into 8 Ω. The output stage is based on high-efficiency switching technology, ensuring generous current delivery and high output voltage, with a maximum swing of approximately 135 V peak, providing ample dynamic headroom even with demanding loads.

From an audio performance standpoint, the DigiMod 3000PFC offers a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 112 dB (A-weighted) and THD+N below 0.05% under nominal conditions. A damping factor greater than 500 (at 100 Hz) ensures excellent loudspeaker control, particularly in the low-frequency range, even with complex or low-impedance loads.

Input sensitivity is 1.04 Vrms (approximately +2.5 dBu) for rated power into 8 Ω, while the maximum accepted input level is 4.36 Vrms (approximately +15 dBu), ensuring full compatibility with the majority of hi-fi preamplifiers and professional audio sources. The voltage gain is fixed at 38 dB, in line with high-end audio standards.

The module is housed in an Alien Technology power amplifier, hand-built by me and installed in a premium solid-aluminum chassis, engineered to provide high mechanical rigidity, effective thermal dissipation and optimal electromagnetic shielding. Power wiring is implemented using 4 mm² silicone-insulated cables, selected for their low resistance, flexibility, and long-term reliability. Output connections are made via high-quality metal binding posts, while the balanced input is equipped with Neutrik XLR connectors, a professional reference standard for robustness and contact quality.
