I am selling my last Japanese Modrate e-Terminus ET-01 ground conditioner, brand new in its original packaging. It is entirely passive (no risk of failure) and features three outputs that need to be connected to the ground of your audio equipment (chassis, RCA sockets, etc.). This conditioner is an essential accessory for any music lover: its role is to eliminate electrical interference in the ground of audio equipment by converting it into heat. Ideally, the ground voltage should be zero, which is far from the case in reality! Modrate is associated with the fo.Q brand, which has developed innovative anti-vibration solutions using a polymer that converts vibrations into heat. Invented by Keso for the aerospace industry, this material was originally developed for aircraft cockpits.

No other manufacturer uses this method to decontaminate the ground. The e-Terminus conditioner has no drawbacks; it unlocks the system’s potential and improves transparency, texture, bass clarity and the soundstage – all musical dimensions affected by ground contamination. This is the best ground conditioner I have imported in terms of its musicality-to-price ratio; unlike active conditioners, there is no interference from the mains supply. The improvement – already very significant – can be further enhanced considerably by using high-end ground cables. A must-have!
