The MAXX 3 is one of the finest and most successful loudspeakers ever created by Wilson Audio. A design that combines the scale, authority and dynamics for which Wilson is famous with an unusually coherent, balanced and natural presentation.
The MAXX 3 delivers an effortless, highly resolving and emotionally engaging sound, with outstanding dynamics, excellent spatial presentation and deep, exceptionally well-controlled bass.
Having listened to both models, I personally prefer the bass performance of the MAXX 3 to that of the newer Wilson Audio Alexx. The MAXX 3 has a remarkable sense of weight and authority while remaining controlled and musical.
For many enthusiasts, this is one of those Wilson designs that has stood the test of time exceptionally well.
