I make columns from a combination of natural wood and epoxy resin.
This combination gives an amazing visual experience, the resin gives the speakers an unprecedented design.
Each set is unique and one of a kind. Our company is a response to the demand for unique, personalized speakers that combine the beauty of wood with innovative resin. Our mission is to create loudspeakers that not only provide excellent sound, but also constitute a unique work of art
Skathi is our special product - a two-way speaker powered bytimeless Scan-Speak speakers. We designed this modelaround the
18W/8545K00 midwoofer and the
D2905/930000tweeter. The result is another level of rich, consistent, cleanand dynamic sound.
Because of its size the Skathi gives agreat flexibility of placement while keeping unparalleledsound quality.
The wood used to build these columns is black oak, also known as quarry wood. Black oak does not grow - it is extracted from underground and marshy areas where it has been lying for at least several hundred years. It is an excavated raw material, oak, which has lain under the surface for centuries, slowly turning tar or dark blue. Using the 14C radiocarbon dating method, the Absolute Dating Laboratory determined that the wood is as much as 1,200 years old!
