Tomanek ULPS MAX HIGH POWER 19VDC/2.1A, (IEC Furutech Gold)
An ultra-linear ‘Custom’ power supply unit, which we manufacture only to order for equipment with high current requirements and demanding high-quality Hi-End power supply units.
Our power supply is a fully transistorised design based on 6 power transistors, a solution used in top-class power supplies dedicated to audiophile applications.
The heart of the power supply is a toroidal transformer with a shielded winding, dedicated for audio applications.
The power supply has a ‘soft start’ circuit, which is necessary for high-power power supplies.
The passive cooling of the power supply is based on a large heat sink, thanks to which there is no noisy fan in our power supply that could interfere with listening. This allows for quiet operation of the power supply, but also enables the delivery of high continuous power at the output. This allows us to power devices that require high continuous power, such as microcomputers, some computers, advanced audio interfaces, DACs, streamers, etc.
The power supply is equipped with a number of safety features.
The power supply's thermal protection disconnects the load at the output when its temperature reaches the maximum possible threshold, preventing the power supply from being damaged by overload. Once cooled down, the power supply returns to normal operation.
In addition to thermal protection, high-quality short-circuit and overvoltage protection are also built in.
