This particular unit was built by Michael Zingenberg (zikra-audio.com) for his personal use, using some of the finest transformers available and with every effort made to optimise performance.
The amplifier uses a power transformer, choke coils and interstage transformer — all from Tamura.
Beneath the anodised aluminium chassis you’ll find pure silver signal wiring and high-grade components throughout. It has recently been serviced and adjusted by Michael himself, so you’ll receive an amplifier that is 100% in perfect working order and ready to run flawlessly for many years.
The output tube is new and comes with a 5-year warranty. The driver tube is the rare and truly exceptional Western Electric 437A.
The amplifier features a fully separate power supply — one for the output stage and one for the driver stage.
The components are hand-selected and of truly exceptional quality, and alone cost more than my asking price. Feel free to make an offer, but please, no lowball bids.
Offered here is an extremely rare and uncompromisingly engineered 300B amplifier — a true gem for the discerning audiophile.
The amplifier is built with a separate power supply that exclusively uses Tamura transformers from their prestigious 6000 series. These have been carefully selected to match the output transformers and ensure perfect synergy in the design. The power supply is fully dual-mono, giving each 300B tube its own dedicated supply — a design rarely seen even in the absolute high-end segment.
The output transformers are from Tamura’s legendary 5000 series — their flagship line — featuring amorphous cores that Tamura was among the first to introduce for audio applications. Interstage transformers are also included, naturally also from Tamura.
In short: this is likely the closest you’ll get to an ultra high-end Japanese 300B amplifier — built in Denmark.
The chassis is made from anodised aluminium and exhibits classic high-end craftsmanship in both look and feel — a testament to its uncompromising build quality.
Component choice is, of course, absolutely top-tier — nothing has been left to chance. Even the internal wiring is pure silver.
For those unfamiliar with Tamura: it is one of the most legendary Japanese transformer manufacturers, used by iconic brands such as Airtight. Tamura has unfortunately ceased production of audio transformers, and their products now sell for very high prices on the used market.
The sound? Exactly what you’d expect — absolutely outstanding.
