6N30P-DR / 6H30n-DP Super Tube
6H30 NOS tubes 1 matched pair (2 tubes) for Audio Research devices (amongst other).
This rare 6N30P-DR (made before end of 1992) includes gold grids and is the absolute top grade of the 6N30 tube type rated for 10.000h operating lifetime. The DR grade means this tube had to pass rigorous testing for space and military applications within the Soviet Union.
Very musical and melodical sound. Very detailed but still sweet treble, sweet voices, incredible timbre of instruments, solid bass.
The tubes are used in Audio Research Reference LS25 MkII, for 100 hours maximum, and then stored in stock. Purchased back in 2006 from THETUBESTORE, 20 years in my stock.
