Pair of B&W 802 (Series 1) in perfect working order.
Condition:
There are signs of wear on the wood veneer, which is normal for speakers over 40 years old. However, their overall appearance is perfectly acceptable for a living room.
Extremely rare option: includes the two original covers (grilles) for the mid/high-frequency heads.
Personal Experience:
I have owned them for two years. What a sound!!! I’ve used them with great success paired with a refurbished Marantz 1120, a refurbished Marantz 1060, a Marantz 1030, a Linn LK280, a refurbished QUAD 303, a Kenwood KA8100, and finally a pair of EL34 mono blocks.
Placement & Performance:
Their acoustic suspension (sealed box) design makes them very easy to position, even in smaller rooms.
I love swapping gear, and it’s very rare for me to keep a pair of speakers for two years. It will be difficult to find something that performs this well for the same budget.
