Calyx Femto DAC – Statement‑Level Converter (2013)
I am selling my Calyx Femto digital‑to‑analog converter, purchased in 2013 and used in a high‑end system. This is Calyx’s former flagship DAC, built around the ESS ES9018 with ultra‑low‑jitter femtosecond clocking and a fully balanced mono‑mono architecture.
Condition & history
– Single owner (adjust if not).
– Used in a smoke‑free, dedicated listening room.
– Very good cosmetic condition overall; one small, light scratch on the top cover, only visible under certain light angles.
– Fully functional: all inputs and outputs work perfectly.
– Always powered from quality mains and used with high‑end associated equipment.

– ESS Sabre ES9018‑based DAC with femtosecond clock (claimed jitter around 500 fs).
– Asynchronous USB 2.0 input up to 24‑bit / 192 kHz, plus multiple S/PDIF and AES/EBU inputs (optical, coax, BNC, AES).
– Fully balanced mono‑mono analog stage with XLR and RCA outputs (up to 6.8 Vrms balanced).
