Description

English Electric, a brand of the Chord Company, has launched the EE1 Plus, an advanced version of its EE1 mains noise isolator, incorporating improvements in noise reduction based on lessons learnt from the original.
It fits discreetly amongst the Ethernet cables of A/V streaming systems, eliminating the network noise often generated by domestic appliances without interfering with digital signals; although digital signals are generally robust, they are often accompanied by a certain degree of noise.
The EE1 Plus’s passive design converts unwanted noise into heat, thereby ensuring that the quality of the digital data remains unaffected. It features galvanic isolation, targeted common-mode filtering and Chord Company’s exclusive ARAY technology.
Noise reduction can be achieved in various configurations: between a data switch and a streamer/server, a server and a streamer, or a router and a data switch. Further reduction can be achieved by using additional devices, for example, between a router and a data switch, and between the switch and a streamer.
Crafted from precision-machined aluminium and featuring two high-quality decoupled isolation feet, the EE1 Plus is designed for superior performance in AV playback systems. Its compact design makes installation easy.
