Description
Creative Sound Blaster AE-9PE (Playback Edition): PCIe sound card with ESS SABRE 9038 DAC and external Audio Control Module with Xamp discrete headphone bi-amp. Selling because I no longer use it.
Works perfectly, very good condition. Complete set in the original box with cables and spare brackets, see photos.
Playback Edition: the control module has no microphone input.
DAC 129 dB, up to 32-bit 384 kHz PCM and DSD64.
Headphone outputs 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm, IEM, Normal and High gain modes for headphones from 16 to 600 ohms.
Card outputs: RCA front out, 3.5 mm rear and center sub out, optical in and out. Swappable op-amps.
5.1 discrete, Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect. Windows only.
Needs a free PCIe slot and a 6-pin PCIe power connector from the PC power supply for the control module.
