The Devialet Expert 200 is an all-in-one device (amplifier, DAC, streamer, and phono preamp). No remote control.
1. Core Technology: ADH®
The heart of the Devialet is the Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH).
• How it works: It uses a small Class A amplifier (for pure and sweet sound) to drive the voltage, supported by a powerful Class D amplifier that provides the current needed to drive the speakers.
• The Result: Get the refinement of Class A with the power and bass control of Class D.
2. The SAM® (Speaker Active Matching) System
This is the most interesting feature for you. Devialet measures the physical behavior of hundreds of speakers and creates a specific software profile.
3. Technical Features in Brief
• Power: 200W per channel into 6 Ohms (can be configured in "Dual Mono" with a second Expert 200 to become an Expert 400).
• Internal DAC: Devialet's "Magic Wire" minimizes the signal path between the DAC and the speaker terminals to avoid jitter.
• Phono Stage: It is fully software-configurable (you can set the exact cartridge you use).
