The Extraudio X251 MKII is a solid-state, dual-mono integrated amplifier built around a refined Class A-oriented preamplification stage — physically the same preamp section as Extraudio's own XP3 standalone preamplifier — combined with Extraudio's proprietary EPAM power amplification modules. No built-in DAC, no streaming module, no digital gimmicks: just a pure analogue integrated amplifier designed to let you choose the best source, DAC or streamer for your system, on its own merits.

Home cinema bypass function
Like the rest of the Extraudio integrated amplifier range, the X251 MKII lets you share your front speakers between your HiFi and home cinema systems. Connect the pre-out outputs of your home cinema receiver/processor to the amplifier's PROCESSOR input (RCA or XLR). In this mode the X251 MKII becomes a pure power amplifier block, since the incoming signal bypasses its own preamp stage entirely — no need for a second pair of front speakers.

Phono option
The X251 MKII can be fitted with an internal MM or MC phono preamplification module, letting you integrate high-level vinyl playback without adding extra boxes, power supplies or cables. Please ask if you'd like this unit configured with the phono module before delivery.
